Our glass fiber cloth varieties are diverse and can basically be classified into two major categories: non-alkali cloth and medium-alkali cloth.
Most of the glass fiber cloth fabrics have a light and airy weave, a stable and firm structure, and reliable mechanical strength.
Thanks to the fact that the glass fiber cloth is woven from glass fiber yarns, it inherently possesses the property of high temperature resistance.
Its usage temperature can reach up to 550ºC, and it also has excellent fire resistance and flame retardancy.
Combined with its soft texture, high mechanical strength, and fire-resistant and high-temperature resistance characteristics, it is called "soft steel" in the industrial field. Moreover, glass fiber cloth can further enhance its temperature resistance through coating processing.
For instance, coating it with silicone or vermiculite powder can further improve its temperature resistance, and it is also more fire-resistant.

Application

 

Fiberglass cloth is an excellent high-temperature resistant fireproof material, the fabric is easy to cut to the size required by customers, suitable for making fireproof blankets and welding blankets, and the products produced have excellent performance. Secondly, fiberglass cloth can also be used as an insulation sleeve for pipelines, such as a thermal insulation sleeve for water pipes to prevent water pipes from cracking in winter. At the same time, most glass fiber cloth can be used as a coated base cloth, which has good compatibility with the coating, is easy to make, and is easy to scrape or calender, and can be manufactured into a coating cloth with better temperature and fire resistance.
